Conversing: A Comment podcast in partnership with Fuller Seminary
Popular podcast joins Comment’s growing lineup, expanding reach and impact.
TORONTO — Comment is excited to announce that the popular Conversing podcast, hosted by Mark Labberton, Fuller Seminary’s president emeritus, is now part of Comment’s growing ecosystem of podcasts. In partnership with Fuller Seminary, Comment will serve as the new home for Conversing, further amplifying its reach and impact.
When was the last time you were transformed by an encounter? It’s a poignant question, especially in today’s era of perpetual conflict and public discourse marked by suspicion and insularity. To be a Christian today is to struggle actively against these forces while honouring one’s personhood and the call of love that draws us to attend to the personhood of others. Conversing has long offered a unique space for these critical reflections.
“For as long as I’ve known him, Mark’s sensitivity to the deeper tectonic shifts of our time, and to the living hope of the gospel within our time, has opened up a different kind of space within which to consider the shape of our future. Whether the topic is violence, ecology, gender, technology, or democracy, Mark’s respect for the complexity, subtlety, uncertainty, and slowness that effective acts of repair and reimagination require has led him to people from around the world whose work and witness Comment is only too eager to amplify,” said Anne Snyder, editor-in-chief at Comment. “Each week, you can expect to journey with Mark as he converses with artists, entertainers, athletes, scientists, public intellectuals, local activists, and entrepreneurs to learn from their insights and responses. Listeners will find fresh signposts for how to walk in the life-giving power of Jesus Christ today.”
As Mark Labberton puts it, “So much faithful wisdom is out there; so much wisdom is needed.” Conversing aims to uncover this wisdom, providing valuable insights and practical guidance for navigating the complexities of modern life.
