Executive Director Announcement

Dear Members and Friends,

This message was sent via our e-mail distribution list, but I and the Board wanted to share this news with you here as well.

After two years in the role, Christine Di Pasquale will move on from her position as Religion News Association (RNA) Executive Director to pursue other opportunities, effective September 30, 2023. We thank Christine for her service to religion journalism and RNA’s membership, wishing her all the best in future endeavors.

Christine’s tenure not only saw us through our return to in-person conferences in Bethesda, Maryland, but also a balanced budget, new website and contest portal as well as exciting preparations for our 75th anniversary celebrations at the 2024 RNA Conference in Pittsburgh (April 18-20).

As we say goodbye, the RNA Board has already started the process to fill the vacancy. We will be sharing more information about the position in coming weeks, but look forward to the next chapter, as we continue to equip journalists throughout the world with the tools and resources they need to cover religion with balance, accuracy and insight.
