The Upper Room announces two-year Academy for Spiritual Formation #43
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Upper Room Academy for Spiritual Formation is pleased to announce the upcoming Two-Year Academy #43, scheduled from November 3, 2025, to September 3, 2027. This immersive, cohort-based program is designed to deepen participants’ relationships with God, self, others, and creation through structured rhythms of communal worship, contemplative practices, thoughtful study, restorative rest, and meaningful conversation.
The Two-Year Academy consists of eight five-day sessions held quarterly over two years, fostering a sustainable rhythm of retreat and return that promotes spiritual growth and renewal. Sessions for Academy #43 will be hosted at two locations: Redemptorist Renewal Center in Tucson, Arizona, and St. Benedict Retreat Center in Schuyler, Nebraska.

November 3-7, 2025 (Nebraska)
February 9-13, 2026 (Nebraska)
May 11-15, 2026 (Arizona)
August 31-September 4, 2026 (Arizona)
October 19-23, 2026 (Nebraska)
January 25-29, 2027 (Arizona)
April 5-9, 2027 (Nebraska)
August 30-September 3, 2027 (Arizona)
Participants will engage in daily prayer, silence, and spiritual practices, complemented by lectures and communal reflections on Christian spirituality, scripture, and theology. The program emphasizes holistic spiritual growth, encouraging participants to embody their faith through acts of compassion, justice, and reconciliation.

Program fees, which include room and board for each session and tuition, are available on the event page. Partial scholarships are available to ensure financial barriers do not impede participation.
