American Scientist Presents Mathematical Model Exploring Alignment Between Scientific Data and the Biblical Creation Timeline
A 12-year research effort introduces a framework connecting cosmology, mathematics, and theological interpretation

A new scientific work is generating discussion for its approach to one of the most enduring questions in human history: the relationship between scientific understanding and the Biblical account of creation.
Dr. Nathanael-Israel Israel, a Beninese-American scientist with a PhD from a U.S. institution, has developed a mathematical model that explores potential alignment between modern scientific data and the timeline described in the Book of Genesis.
The framework, developed over 12 years of research, draws on scientific data accumulated over centuries and references findings associated with institutions such as NASA. It proposes specific formation timelines—Earth in 2.82 days, the Moon in 3.32 days, and the Sun in 3.69 days after the beginning of the universe.
According to Dr. Israel, the model offers a structured approach to examining whether scientific observations and longstanding theological interpretations can be understood in relation to each other.
“This work is intended to encourage deeper exploration of fundamental questions about existence,” Dr. Israel said. “It presents a framework for considering how scientific reasoning and interpretations of creation may intersect.”
