Rules and formats:

  • Word limit: 1,000 words.

  • You may include a logo and one additional image.

  • Video embeds are also available.

  • After purchasing, email your release as a Word document to engage@rna.org.

  • Please allow up to four hours during normal business hours for posting.

Promote your news directly to the leading community of religion reporters, editors, and communicators. RNA offers a comprehensive press release package that ensures your announcement is seen and shared across multiple channels.

What you get:

  • Dedicated email send: Your release is sent as a standalone email to RNA’s current member list (from info@rna.org with your organization’s name as the sender)

  • Website posting: Permanent posting on the RNA “Press Releases” page for reference and searchability.

  • Member Minute inclusion: Featured in RNA’s following monthly Member Minute newsletter, reaching all active members.

  • Social media promotion: Posted to RNA’s social channels (Facebook, X/Twitter) with clear disclosure as sponsored content.

  • Clear labeling: All releases carry a “Press Release / Sponsored” tag per RNA’s Advertising Policy.

  • Performance recap: Email delivery, open, and click-through rates provided upon request.

Creative specs:

  • Press release file: Submit in Word or plain text format (max 1,200 words).

  • Headline: Up to 90 characters.

  • Body copy: Standard press release format (lead paragraph, body, boilerplate, media contact).

  • Images: Up to 2 high-resolution JPG/PNG files (1200px max width). Provide captions and alt text.

  • Logo: High-res PNG with transparent background, optional.

  • Links: Up to 5 hyperlinks (UTM-ready).

Scheduling & lead time:

  • Booking window: First come, first served; we recommend 2–4 weeks’ notice.

  • Materials due: 5 business days before release date.

  • Blackout dates: Major religious holidays and days with RNA announcements may be unavailable.

Brand safety & eligibility:

All content must comply with RNA’s Advertising Policy. We do not accept:

  • Proselytizing or doctrinal appeals to conversion

  • Partisan political advocacy or calls to legislative action

  • Misleading, discriminatory, or unverified claims
