Congratulations to our RNA Excellence in Religion Reporting winners!

At a special 75th anniversary event hosted at The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, Pa. on April 20, 2024, the Religion News Association (RNA) showcased religion journalism excellence across 13 categories spanning print, online and broadcast media, as well as nonfiction books.

The award winners included Religion Stories of the Year from The Forward ("Special report: What’s it really like to be Jewish on campus right now?"), Michelle Boorstein ("Catholic group spent millions on app data that tracked gay priests," The Washington Post) and Ruth Graham ("With a deadline looming, the United Methodist Church breaks up," The New York Times).

Since 1949, the Religion News Association has been the premier professional association for people who report on religion in the news media. Our mission is to equip journalists throughout the world with the tools and resources they need to cover religion with balance, accuracy and insight.
